I was informed that 2D.G.F. accused me of having miner in my files - That's a lie.
I personally gave FTW infraction for posting game with bitcoin miner on A-S. If you download anything from 2D.G.F. - mikocon, Make sure to carefully check if their release not infected with chines spyware or bitcoin miners. Run exe from their upload through virus scan online or offline.
Be safe and vigilant.
Getting picked up as viral by Avast (antivirus) on execution, but scans clean otherwise. VirusTotal showing 4/66 positive. Guessing it's a false positive, but use at own discretion. Kinda amusing given Velka's 'warnings' about mikocon.
Yeah, of course Velka want to be permanently banned on the tracker and because decided "I want to post viruses today because I want to be permanently banned" - logic.
Really amusing...
And where are you found viruses here. Checked it and it looks like original ansi packed zip archive from dlsite with packed game with Enigma virtual box and original RPGMakerMV exe inside. Antiviruses only can see something in Enigma virtual box which is using for RPGMakerMV games to hide\encrypt resources because work of virtual box like antivirus can see malware in denuvo because it also have suspicious behavour.
@snsi I did mention that it was likely a false positive. The amusement bit was the potential of a re-upload being infected (allegedly what occurred in the situation with miko, at least from what I've heard), and the irony that would be involved in that.
@velka Yeah, I'm aware avast isn't great, but it's alright for a lightweight AV (and I don't want to waste 20-30% of my aging computer's resources on running one of the heavy duty ones).
It's a spyware which steal user data and re sell it, look up avast scheme uncovering from last year. If you need fast av which won't shit your OS use something like bitdefender or kaspersky, both can be purchased for dirt cheap with coupon from third party resellers.
