Thank you!!!
elmofan
Super elmo does it again
AaronDee
Can you do the same for Hatsukoi as well??
SomeHobo
Niiiice!!
Kud
@AaronDee Hatsukoi is out already. Been for a while too!
AaronDee
Lol I meant posting a prepatched version of this https://sukebei.nyaa.si/view/2575296 for ppl who had trouble mounting the game and patching it themselves :)
SirZephy
Runs fine without Japanese Locale for me.
Go to settings and when it warns you that it can’t find MS Gothic, click yes to change fonts and just select MS Gothic again from the list.
Thanks for sharing
CakedEden
Thanks a bunch superelmo!
Anyways, I’m having a hard time reading backlog. Is there a fix to this? :)
superelmo (uploader)
CakedEden: Yes, go to Text Settings, Font Settings and choose “With Borders and Shadows”. It should look like in the last screenshot if you choose “Bold text” and “With Borders and Shadows” and the text in the backlog will be visible.
AaronDee: The only way to play Hatsukoi in English is to mount the game disc, at least for now.
AaronDee
Darn lol …thank you for responding though:)
Rawmax
Played Hatsukoi without a disc. There is a vesrion whith a crack on RuTracker.
lucascba93
@superelmo
This should be the crack for Hatsukoi: https://www.mediafire.com/file/wflrqlwcka9dlf6/Cracker_Build20120627.exe/file
I got it from AB.
superelmo (uploader)
Rawmax and lucascba93: The crack is only for the Japanese version. The English patch requires a disc the first time you start the game. After the first time you start the game you can unmount the disc, but if you delete the save folder the game will ask for disc again. So, the only way to play Hatsukoi in English is to mount the game disc, at least for now. You can replace the exe file that comes with the English patch with the crack and play it like that without the need to mount disc, but it will mess the word wrapping and the game will probably crash a lot.
Rawmax
@superelmo It’s realy strange, because i didn’t have any problems at all. Oh well then…
superelmo (uploader)
Rawmax: I think you never had problems cos you unmounted the installation disc after you started the game once(after the game creates the global.sav file in the save folder). Try deleting your save folder and start the game with the English patch exe without mounting the game disc. Moving the game folder along with your save files to another PC wont work. It’ll ask for disc again. What I mean is, even if it’s working for you without any problems, it’s not going to work for other people if you upload a pre-patched version(what AaronDee asked for).
Rawmax
@superelmo Installed it just now, and it’s working absolutely fine.
That what i did:
Maybe it will help anyone. Sorry for my English, i hope you’ll understand.
One thing i can’t check, it’s will it work on another computer if i move the files.
superelmo (uploader)
Yes, thank you!
I already tried using the original cracked exe with the Launcher that comes with the English patch and it’s giving me lots of error messages on random places on every PC I tried, and as I already said, it will mess up the word wrapping. That’s why I didn’t want to upload it like that. If I remember correctly it also crashes the game sometimes.
Yes, it’ll work if you move the game folder on another PC if you’re using the original cracked exe, but the problem with the error messages and the word wrapping will remain. Can’t say if the problem with the error messages will happen for everyone, but I know for sure it’s not happening only for me. The best way to play the game is to use SiglusEngine.exe file that comes with the English patch.

@Rawmax As superelmo wrote that’s been attempted. All of this annoyance was implemented by the English translation team for whatever deranged reason. There’s also a questionable registry entry when using their patch and starting up their modified .exe file having something to do with Twitter. It’s located at - HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VisualArts\SiglusEngine\Hatsukoi 1/1 The Japanese original .exe file nor its installation does any of this.
So no matter what if you move the folder or to another computer it’s going to bitch when it attempts a disc check. You may even have to re-install the entire game again which is 10 GB in size. This is why that game hasn’t been shared here yet because it will cause issues for whoever downloads the file.
We need a skilled hacker that can destroy or circumvent whatever the English translation team inserted within the game .exe file without it messing with the word wrapping and causing any other issues in the game along with getting rid of that questionable registry entry. Only then can Hatsukoi 1/1 can be shared without having to install the disc, etc. If anybody knows any hacker let them know about that issue and maybe contact superelmo. Strange too since since same TL that did Hatsukoi 1/1 didn’t do the same shit as in this game.
Thanks for the share superelmo. btw I gave up trying to figure out how to get around the issue with Hatsukoi 1/1.

Thanks superelmo, hope you have a lovely week

@superelmo Erogedownload actually has a working version of hatsukoi 1/1 (although without the append patch). I’m not sure if its the jap iso of the game, but i dont remember it being one.
ps. Applying the patch from tsurezure to that version will break it from my experience. I had to grab the jap iso from sukebei.
edit : it seems to be the jap iso thats on erogedownload. cant you do the same here, since you already uploaded installers before?
noZA_
I may be wrong but I believe the erogedownload .exe is the same one as superelmo has mentioned above that breaks the word wrapping pre-append. It’s entirely pointless if it does that plus causes crashes and it won’t have the append.

I installed Hatsukoi: https://www.mediafire.com/file/wflrqlwcka9dlf6/Cracker_Build20120627.exe/file today and so far (I’m only on the first route) it’s working with no issues. I have to say, if someone is going to upload a game with an installation this complicated they should add a text file with instructions. There are a number of steps that are unclear.
superelmo (uploader)
mpg13: Just to let you know that if you’re doing what Rawmax described and using the crack file you posted(mediafire link), it’ll break the word wrapping. I hope Rawmax didn’t mislead too many people.

@superelmo I installed it as intended mounting the disks. I copied and pasted the wrong link. I meant to use this one. https://sukebei.nyaa.si/view/2575296 Sorry for the misleading information.
superelmo (uploader)
Oh, yes, there should be no problems with this version.

The game is working great for me, but a friend of mine says that the game screen looks blurred: https://gyazo.com/aa0fe21628b951427df3a13c9caff072
Any fix for this?
superelmo (uploader)
Not sure, but try changing the screen resolution to 1280x720.

Good job!
