A little question for Cubmaps and Extramap zip, do have I to unzip it in the main folder ?

Thank you for the repack, Illusion games can be a little tricky. Seeding is extremely slow, this is going to take days :
Question, considering the pack has cubemaps, can I assume it also includes plasticmind’s image based lighting?

Yes, the optional pack includes PHIBL, cubemaps and optional maps aren’t going to do much without it ;)

Male uncensor has some texture issues. I redownloaded cur144’s uncensor via hongfire and it looks correct now. Unfortunately Illusion will probably never give us functioning meshes for penetration, so were stuck with telescope dicks. :b Face wrinkles fail to render, not sure why.
Otherwise I haven’t found anything else detrimental, thanks again for the hard work!
(tip) If the game or studio is not loading translations, make sure you patch the game once (launch it too), then use the normal exe to start.

  Yes, I agree. I’m currently in the progress of trying my hand at translating the user manual for Koikatsu, and do plan to add a section to that manual for Mod usage and key mappings. I will probably do something similar for PlayHome at that time as well if it turns out acceptable for Koikatsu.

  That’s wierd… didn’t notice that during testing, and no mods overwrote any files related to cur144s uncensor… I’ll have to test that when I get the chance to see if I just missed it. The fun of being a one man operation -.-'
  Unfortunately, I don’t know if I’m able to fix Illusions shortcuts with regards to telescopes, nor have I planned on giving that a shot in the very near future :P

  I’ve seen that happen with HSAnimations enabled, thus why it were moved to optional. If you’ve applied that, you might want to remove it unless you’re using it.

  Yes, that’s the main differenciator between Koikatsu and this game for end users, for that reason I created a bat file that adds shortcuts to the patch&start game procedure to the desktop, and named that file “[BR] 0-RUNFIRST! Prepare the game”. In that file I explain that as well :)

There is a plugin (patreon only) for koikatu called kplug which features working vaginal meshes, I coughed up a dollar or so for it a while back. Unfortunately it’s also a complete game overhaul too, but it honestly eliminates the need for a few other plugins. Somewhat similar to the kupa mod for CM3D2. I’m sure someone could do it, but that godlike individual is yet to rise to the challenge.

Interesting to hear, because HSanimations plugin would display an error message for every scene load, and I did change the file path in modprefs. I already removed it so I’ll have to boot up the character maker again and see. That’s quite an interesting conflict.

wow from 11GB to 41GB,after unpacking o_o

Can someone remind me how exactly one activates a plugin? I remember or maybe it was a different illusion game, in short I cannot find or remember how to activate a plugin. I keep trying to force 30 FPS, instead i keep getting 120 and I hate to over use GPU for no good reason.

Yes, quite the compression on this one ;)

For simplicity sake, I included a file named “[BR] 0-RUNFIRST! Prepare the game” that generates shortcuts on the desktop that includes the patching. If you’d like to do so manually, you need to drag the executable (PlayHome64bit.exe) to the patcher (IPA.exe) and that’ll patch and generate a shortcut in the folder.

In the optional folder there’s a version of DHH that locks the FPS to 60, that may help you out somewhat.

ProjectHighHeel was moved as the .txt specified but it does not work. I was able to force fps with the “chill” option but sometimes the game will go back to 120 if the camera rotation is at certain angle and varies depending what background type I am using

ah I see there is a DHH folder but I still don’t see how I activate or disable plugins. I even extracted the additional archive and there is PHIBL or whatever folder (plugin), no idea how to activate or disable plugins. If I remember in other illusion games i could turn on or turn off a plugin through settings or by pressing an F10-F12 key…

To disable a plugin you simply need to move it out of the Plugins folder and run the IPA patcher, either through the shortcut my script creates or by dragging the executable over the IPA executable. I don’t believe there’s a interface way of enabling and disabling plugins.

Don’t remember how to remove mods
most of the Tans / Tattoos are not working, as in not showing the same on body as in the preview image.

I somehow always mess up modding PlayHome so this really helps. Thank you again for another repack and it’s working great!

When I use the vr mod, I don’t see my controllers and can’t interact with the menu. Is there anything I did wrong?

Sorry for the late response. That’s… strange. I tested that everything worked with the tattoos… I can get a list of files that make up that mod, or maybe even create a bat for you to simplify the removal of that particular mod. I’ll get on that when time allows.

the VR for PlayHome seems to be problematic for several people. Some people have told me that there’s a VR Mod available that fixes some stuff, but I have yet to look into that (and don’t have VR equipment, so can’t test it either). If I get a hold of it, I’ll probably include it as a optional mod for the next pack.

I will have to 2nd on the tattoos not working. Some do appears, but they are oversize. This probably is a problem with the tattoo resolution. Anyway, I seem to be having an issue with [BR] 0-RUNFIRST! bat. It creates 3 shortcut on my desktop, but I can only run Playhome Launcher. The game and studio gives me
"ERROR: Drag an (executable) file on the exe!". Is there a way to fix this? Thank you for the repack btw.

To fix that issue try dragging “PlayHome64bit.exe” onto “IPA.exe” instead. This will do the same thing as the bat file and create a shortcut in your installation directory called “PlayHome64bit (Patch & Launch)”. Make sure to use this shortcut to run playhome every time so it properly patches and your mods work.

mods preapplied… well it failed right at the start,the uncersor mods are so bad and poorly done and noticing this guy is a scammer that was hated by hongfire community.
just upload the hongfire patch it would be better specially since there you can choose to either leave things as they are or uncensor them (the uncensor always clip on the wrong position and is always at the wrong side)
